We live in a highly sophisticated world where everything is almost achievable. To cater to the huge human population, technology in this field evolved side by side the scientific progress. Development of the science and technology depends on the analysis and proper understanding of facts. But in India’s case, the colonizers had a windfall extraordinary profit margins from the control of India’s exports, the taxation of its economic production, and eventually the transfer of its technology and production to the colonizer’s home. Videos and music can now be seen on demand and news from across the world can be delivered in an instant.
Modern Western technology has produced amazing achievements, but we must analyze the wider implications of such technologies and their notions of progress. First, that person may not be able to read specific science & technology terms; and second, if you want their business, you must make an effort to go the extra mile. The science and technology has been responsible for the development of: agriculture, communications, credit facilities, electricity, education, health, housing, infrastructure, industries, transportation, etc.
For example, science might study the flow of electrons in electrical conductors, by using already-existing tools and knowledge. It was not possible to have all the benefits of it without implementing it in the sectors like medicines, education, infrastructure, electricity, aviation, information technology and other field. Development, whether it is human development or country development, is linked to the proper growth and development of the technology in many ways. Science helps humans gain increased understanding of how the world works, while technology helps scientists make these discoveries. Infrastructure in the society has grown with the help of science and technology.
When it became difficult for Europeans to ignore the massive archaeological evidence of classical Indian science and technology, they asserted that the Indus-Sarasvati Civilization had to be a transplant from the Egyptian and Mesopotamian civilizations. Nationally, in a single year (2011), HKUST received five State Science and Technology Awards, which are among the most prestigious awards in science and technology conferred by China’s State Council. One would think that technology makes the world smaller and more intimate for obvious reasons.
There is no doubt that the introduction of modern technology into science and medicine has helped improved the quality of medications, treatment and increase the chance of people surviving from the different diseases that afflict man. The utilisation of technology has enhanced the production and productivity of several crops thus improving the quality of life of most of the farmers and also the supply of several commodities in the markets. In other words, the arrival of technology in the industry has made a lot of people comfortable in dealing with their health problem.
