The contest has three rounds, each focusing on different aspects of Apple’s announcements. Round 1, which ended on June 2, was about software announcements, including iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and visionOS.
In Round 2, which runs from July 7 to July 21, participants can make predictions about Apple’s hardware, such as iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple Watches, and Vision Pro. Each round has five questions, and correct answers earn entries into the grand-prize drawing.
The grand-prize drawing will be held at the end of Round 3, which spans August 18 to September 1 and focuses on Apple’s fall event. To be eligible, participants must be at least 18 years old and residents of the 50 U.S. states or Washington, D.C..
All CNET Group sites, including CNET, Mashable, PCMag, and ZDNET, are hosting their own questions, offering a total of 75 possible queries to answer across all sites and rounds. Participants can answer any or all questions on these sites, but each entrant is only eligible to win one prize.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win the “CNET Group Big Guessing Game” Giveaway, which is open to legal U.S. residents in the 50 states and D.C., 18+ years of age. The giveaway began on May 19, 2026, at 12:01 p.m. ET and ends on September 1, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
